Rudy, I appreciate your viewpoint. I'm not trying to establish a new vocabulary. Tbh, that is one of the things I'm arguing against... restrictive use of language. Immutable & permanent are essentially synonyms. I wouldn't argue for one over another.

There are identity groups forming around autism and neurodiversity, certainly. The social construct certainly does exist. But I argue it is a different thing than the physical or neurological fact of being autistic.

And for myself, there are parts of the emerging consensus around that social identity that don't fit me comfortably. At least as defined by some advocates.

I'm not sure where I see points of discussion I can really add in the direction you are developing. Perhaps others will jump in to discuss.

Your viewpoint deserves consideration.
