I make a lot of preparations around jet lag. I am very sensitive to disruption to my diurnal rhythms. Napping before, napping a lot after, waking up naturally when I can, setting alarms at midpoints between my home time zone and the destination, making sure I get sunlight early and late to reset my internal clock after I arrive... stuff like that.
I'm a major wanderluster ... on a food stamp budget.
You do anything similar?
