Pandemic. Mass extinction. Climate disaster. Economic panic. Political turmoil. Civil unrest…

Uncivil hatred.

My autistic heart cannot seperate my life from our world’s fate…

And the rising tides of hate.

My feelings… My behaviors… My art… mirror the chaos on my screens.

Another of my written Songs without a Singer. (More here.)

Got A Hate On

I… I… I… I… I.
Got a hate on
Got a hate on…

I… I… I… I… I.
Got a hate on
Got a hate on….

Been mad way too long
Can’t let this thing go on
Got a hate on
Got a hate on

Behold…
I’m my own grandpa
Destroyer of worlds
He couldn’t understand.
Scaring off the boogeyman
With Hitler in his bedstand.
As a kid at his knee
I vowed one job
Never be
This bitter old man.

But here’s me… yet again
Hollering… yet again
Knowing it ain’t real
These rages I feel
But my bruises will not heal
This beast must lick his wounds
Before I love you
again

Brother against brother
Mother against son
Anger at the 7–11
You, me… each other’s throat
On TV… guns & drums
Guns & drums
Guns & drums
Searching for that scapegoat.

Me and you… yet again
Hollering… yet again
Knowing it ain’t real
These rages we feel
But our bruises will not heal
Every beast needs time… and peace
Before we love anyone
again

I… I… I… I… I.
Got a hate on
Got a hate on…

I… I… I… I… I.
Got a hate on
Got a hate on….

Been mad way too long
Can’t let this thing go on
Got a hate on
Got a hate on
